In view of the worldwide situation caused by the corona pandemic and the associated bans on events or travel restrictions, Messe Frankfurt, together with its partners – ZVEI and ZVEH – and the Advisory Council, has agreed to hold Light + Building in rotation from 13 to 18 March 2022.

For the planned date in September this year, Messe Frankfurt and its partners have made every effort to organise a successful Light + Building in autumn. In the current situation, however, nobody can guarantee that the event will take place in September and that it will be able to live up to its claim to be the leading international trade fair. For large sections of the international trade public in particular, travel to the event is subject to significant restrictions or may even be impossible.

The health of all participants in the event, whether exhibitors or visitors, is our highest priority. At the same time, we have to avert unnecessary costs for all participants at an early stage.
The decision has not been easy for us. We are now focusing all our energy on holding Light + Building in 2022.
