HICL – High Intensity Ceramic LED Filament

Sounds great, but what is this?

High Power LEDs require special materials to function. For the “High Brightness” LED illuminants we have developed a special ceramic material for the LED filament – HICL. It is semi-transparent and has an enormously high thermal conductivity. Therefore it can absorb and dissipate a lot of heat in a short time. Ideal as carrier material for the high-performance chips in the bright LED light sources of the Bright Line. The semi-transparency also permits all-round radiation of the individual diodes, thus ensuring uniform 360° light distribution of the entire LED lamp.

To protect and stabilize the HICL LED filament, further layers are applied very thinly, e.g. the fluorescent layer. This allows the carrier material to protrude considerably. This is intentional, because this overhang of the ceramic provides a further heat conduction advantage of almost 30%! Among other things, this ensures the extremely long service life of the HICL LED lighting.
Depending on its composition, the applied fluorescent layer provides a colour temperature spectrum from 2200 Kelvin to daylight white of 5500 Kelvin. And all this with full luminous efficacy of up to 4250 lumens!

The High Brightness LED filament lamps are especially suitable for professional use due to their high lumen yield and very long service life. Also with the design and shaping of the bulbs, hardly any desires remain open. From the large ellipse to the stylish long tube to the almost invisible G9 pin, everything is represented in the Bright Line.
